Level 1 Online Makaton Workshop

Service Description

Level 1 training provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme. The session is over 2 days 7/8 May 2024 6pm-9.30pm - Online via Zoom You will learn the signs and symbols from Stages 1 and 2, and some of the Additional stage of the Core Vocabulary.  You will also learn about the Makaton programme, and how to start using it everyday.  Your manual, which will be posted to you, includes all the signs and symbols learnt.   These are accredited workshops. Makaton training can only be carried out by licensed regional tutors. Each level of training includes a workshop manual, and an attendance certificate. Terms: (for Levels 1,2,3,4 Makaton Training and Using Makaton with Singing Workshop) - Participants must be 16 years old or over - You will need to provide photos of previous training certificates to ensure you are accessing the correct workshop. (This only applies to bookings for Level 2,3,4) - As workshop places are limited, payment in full is required to confirm your place. For online training, your course manual and certificate will be posted to you prior to training. In person training: you will receive your manual at the beginning of the workshop and receive your certificate on completion. - Courses are non refundable and non transferable. Please make sure you are able to attend all dates before booking. - If I have to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. For Refresher, Taster and Themed Sessions there is no manual provided, only signs and symbols from the session itself. Numbers are currently limited to 20 for online training. These sessions are suitable for adults and older children accompanied by an adult. The price is per person and not refundable.
