Level 3 Online Makaton Workshop

Service Description

Level 3 Makaton Language Programme. 4/5 November 6pm-9.30pm The session is over 2 days Online via Zoom This level 3 course will teach you the signs and symbols from Stages 5 and 6 from the Makaton Vocabulary. You will recap signs and symbols learned from stages 1-4 and additional vocabulary. The emphasis is about developing and improving your signing skills and symbols use. You will learn how to use your signs and symbols to accurately convey meaning, and become more fluent in your signing skills. This is new training which partly replaces the old Follow up/Enhancement Workshops. (Level 4 will complete the training). Your workshop manual, which will be posted to you, includes all the signs and symbols learnt. These are accredited workshops. Makaton training can only be carried out by licensed regional tutors. Each level of training includes a workshop manual, and an attendance certificate. *Please note you must already have completed Levels 1 & 2 and may be asked to send a photo of your certificates. Terms: (for Levels 1,2,3,4 Makaton Training and Using Makaton with Singing Workshop) - Participants must be 16 years old or over - You will need to provide photos of previous training certificates to ensure you are accessing the correct workshop. (This only applies to bookings for Level 2,3,4) - As workshop places are limited, payment in full is required to confirm your place. For online training, your course manual and certificate will be posted to you prior to training. In person training: you will receive your manual at the beginning of the workshop and receive your certificate on completion. - Courses are non refundable and non transferable. Please make sure you are able to attend all dates before booking. - If I have to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. For Refresher, Taster and Themed Sessions there is no manual provided, only signs and symbols from the session itself. Numbers are currently limited to 20 for online training. These sessions are suitable for adults and older children accompanied by an adult. The price is per person and not refundable.
