Online Song, Story and Sign Session

Service Description

Come along to this informal session where we will look at using visual communication to support the telling of the classic 'The Tiger who came to Tea' You will learn how to adapt and simplify the vocabulary according to your audience. We will also look at how to turn the related vocabulary into a song to create a song and story session. (You can sing as much as you like, or not at all - the mute button is your friend!) This is best suited for those living and/or working with young children, or people who would enjoy this kind of story and activity. NB You don't have to have the book although a copy of the story might help you use the activities going forward. Online via Zoom It's an interactive session. To access it, you will need a laptop or tablet with a working camera. No previous Makaton training is necessary. If you have any questions, then please just drop me an email. See you soon!

Cancellation Policy

Please read the terms below before you book online. Contact Lorna before booking if you have any questions. Terms: (for Levels 1,2,3,4 Makaton Training and Using Makaton with Singing Workshop) - Participants must be 16 years old or over - You will need to provide photos of previous training certificates to ensure you are accessing the correct workshop. (This only applies to bookings for Level 2,3,4) - As workshop places are limited, payment in full is required to confirm your place. For online training, your course manual and certificate will be posted to you prior to training. In person training: you will receive your manual at the beginning of the workshop and receive your certificate on completion. - Courses are non refundable and non transferable. Please make sure you are able to attend all dates before booking. - If I have to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. For Refresher, Taster and Themed Sessions there is no manual provided, only signs and symbols from the session itself. Numbers are currently limited to 20 for online training. These sessions are suitable for adults and older children accompanied by an adult. The price is per person and not refundable. Please note, the price includes postage of manuals and certificates to UK addresses. If you are booking from outside the UK, please contact me for a postage quote.
